The National LIS Awards will return to London this month, taking place at the Grosvenor House Hotel on Park Lane on the evening of Thursday November 15th.
Presented by the organisers of the National Landlord Investment Show and the publishers of Landlord Investor Magazine, the event celebrates excellence and professionalism in the UK’s private rental sector.
Opto Property Group will be hoping to add to its awards collection at this prestigious event, having been shortlisted in the Developer of the Year category.
The firm, whose current projects include Opto Student Newcastle and Luton’s Imperial Square, has already received one accolade this year, being named Developer of the Year at the 2018 Property Wire Awards.
Development director Matt Day said the latest nomination is a welcome recognition of the company’s dedication to delivering high-quality, long-term housing solutions in towns and cities across the UK.
“At a time when housebuilding is vital to accommodate a huge shortfall of property across the country, our team is pleased with the progress we have made throughout 2018, and we look forward to delivering more developments in the years to come,” he added.
“To be shortlisted in the Developer of the Year award category is a great acknowledgement of our team’s hard work and we are excited to be a part of the National LIS Awards for the first time this year.”
Opto Property Group partner Experience Invest will also be attending the awards event, having received a nomination in the Best Property Investment Provider category.
The National LIS Awards 2018 will provide a fitting showcase for the UK’s private rental sector, with more than 400 key players set to attend.
Awards will be presented to recognise standards and achievements on the part of developers, investment providers, mortgage brokers, lettings agents and other key groups that help to maintain the highest standards in the industry.
Property Investor News editor Richard Bowser will be among the judges given the task of deciding the winners, along with Marie Parris, chief executive of George Ellis Property Services, and Kate Faulkner, managing director of Propertychecklists.co.uk.
Regardless of the results in each category, it will undoubtedly be an exciting night and a memorable celebration of the private rental sector.
