New Bedford House set for on-time completion in Q4

Opto Property Group is currently hard at work on developments in a number of sectors, including student accommodation and commercial property.

 

In the residential market, we will soon deliver a welcome boost to housing supply in London’s commuter belt, in the shape of New Bedford House, Luton.

 

On-time arrival

 

New Bedford House is an £8 million project that will offer a choice of 54 one- and two-bedroom apartments in the centre of Luton, a town that is highly popular with London commuters, partly because of its direct transport links to the capital.

 

The development will be delivered, on time and on budget, before the end of the year, with practical completion expected in October.

 

This is one of the key projects that contributed to Opto Property Group’s success at the 2018 Property Wire Awards, where we overcame competition from Galliard Homes and Barratt Homes to be named Developer of the Year.

 

Speaking at the event, Jerald Solis, director of Opto Property Group, said the company will “continue to strive to deliver and adhere to the highest standards in our industry”.

 

New Bedford House also continues our strong track record in Luton, where we have also strengthened the student accommodation market with more than 800 purpose-built rooms.

Luton is home to a number of exciting developments at the moment, including Imperial Square, an apartment complex offering a selection of one- and two-bedroom apartments that are sure to attract the interest of London commuters.

 

With New Bedford House already sold out, Imperial Square could represent an attractive alternative for investors looking to take advantage of strong tenant demand on the private rental market.

 

Luton’s close proximity to London also means that it offers good potential for capital growth, ensuring that developments in the area will always prove an appealing option for buyers.
